So, A.- It's not hype. Every great thing you've read so far in the reviews is spot on. This is a tour-de-force performance by a loving, masterful storytelller. and B.- The storytelling is fully supported by the crisp and specific direction, great lighting and screenwork, PLUS a beautifully choreographed and scored song-and-dance number. What more could one want? This absolutely deserved the standing ovation it received, given while I was laughing too hard to wipe the tears from my eyes. Jennie Fahn could surely teach a Master class on how to write and perform a one woman show. "Under the Jello Mold" is hilarious, intriguing, and deeply moving. Jennie takes you on a journey of emotions. Every section so concisely transitions to the next seamlessly. The story moves and flows perfectly. The story is completely unpredictable and you never know what you might learn about these people! Amazing performance. Incredible courage in the writing. I'm not surprised this is "Pick of the Fringe". It is very well deserved. Go see this SHOW!!! You'll be sorry if you don't. ... full review
