What I liked

I enjoyed the poetry and language. The atmosphere are premise were appropriate to the show and the setting the director wanted. The acts were well partition and flowed well. The director, organizer ,Travis Eaton Snyder thoughtfully lead diverse writers through his overall vison and an entertaining and yet thought provoking, interlaced and interconnected yet separate play was presented in total. 4 vignettes that had a stream of consistent messaging. He , Snyder Eaton put it all together thoughtfully and ended up with an fun cabaret like show that was witty, pensive, dark and current. I liked the Joel Gray ish character and the Priest/Minister. On point acting that entertained. The guitar playing and teasing between the host and guitarist. He played well too.

What I didn't like

The gratuitous profanity was more than was needed. It can have its place but if over used just becomes foul words. Too much just makes me think the author has nothing else to say and is stuck so a “fuck” is tossed in as some kind of place holder. The Trump basing may have reached a point of being done so much by so many that any valid and salient points get lost in the myriad of anti Trump. However our times make such enticing fodder for young, passionate authors and actors.

My overall impression

The show made me reflect, consider, laugh a little, empathize more and leave feeling my time and money well spent. The play had value beyond economics: in entertainment, political philosophy, tragedy , comedy and angst.
My test is did a play(or any entertainment) stay in my head rumbling around as I process it and ponder. Orange Mango did so. Congratulations Mr. Snyder Eaton,
players, authors and crew.
