Each of her inner voices were characterized by a specific voice and mannerism, and there were many! It was truly one of the most impressive performance pieces I saw at The Fringe, mostly because of humanized characters contrasted with the actor’s “true” personality. The disparity was huge, bordering on “schizo.” Amazing!
What I didn't like
As this is a story based on real life, I got the impression that the path to healing for this actor is still fresh. I would have liked a more definitive “ending.” However, as it is based on true events, it’s unfair to ask the actor to “invent” a more fairytale conclusion, since that would not be truthful.
My overall impression
This actor is an improvisational master! She effortlessly fluctuates between myriad characters with heart-stopping rhythm. So well-written! Brilliantly performed!
