What I liked
wonderful and surprising performance from the lead, good solid supporting cast, great writing and concept, plus a twist!
What I didn't like
cramped seating (which quickly ceased to be an issue, once I got engrossed)
My overall impression
This play wildly exceeded my expectations for a Fringe Festival show. It’s a fully-formed work of entertainment that tackles big issues in a deep and innovative way, all while making the whole crowd bust up laughing. Most impressively, it made me forget that I was watching a musical (I generally dislike musicals, so that’s a crowning achievement). TRIXIE is definitely worth leaving your house for. And then some. Go see it.
