About the Project
On December 16, 1773, Martha Washington killed a British solider. Instead of telling her husband, she ran to her friends for help. This is the previously unknown (and slightly untrue) story of how the wives of Washington, Jefferson, Madison, and Franklin banded together to pull off the greatest cover up in history.
