My overall impression
After seeing Girl Band I was depressed to think that this band doesn’t actually exist! Could this be the next revival? Angsty 90’s alt-rock? The cast made me miss grunge fashion so much I tore holes in the knees of my pants while I was watching! Girl Band was fun but also produced & written in a way that makes you feel seriously toward the choices the characters are faced with. A play about artistic integrity done with a lot of artistic integrity. I am going to see it again. Maybe 2 more times. Depends on my work schedule.
