About the Project

Synopsis:
A hermetic woman wants to be left alone, but her deceased family members continue to show up unannounced. Through employing a medium to seek a visit from her late husband (the only one she really wants to see), she learns how to forgive the wrongs done in her life, develop a companionship with herself, and relate to the living world around her.

Character Breakdowns:
Ellie – a 35-year-old widow, who has shut herself up in her home, deciding the world has nothing to offer her
Sage – a lanky and stringy blonde in her late twenties with paranormal gifts
Bridget – the recently deceased mother-in-law of Ellie who values properness and discretion
Rosemary – the long-dead alcoholic, chain-smoking mother of Ellie with a brazen demeanor
Jimmy – the recently deceased older brother of Ellie, who is sweet, artistic and a drinker
Molly – the rebellious teenage embodiment of the baby Ellie aborted in her early 20s, desperate to be loved
Marty – a UPS deliveryman who has a crush on Ellie
Pat – the recently deceased, handsome and silent husband of Ellie
