A true representation of today's millennial/gen y obsession with social media and the extremes they'll go to, in a comedic way.... full review

The ABC's is a comical and relevant interpretation of today's Instagram culture and pursuit of perfection. I throughly enjoyed the comedy as well as light cast on bigger issues of self acceptance and body dysmorphia. This play starts a serious conversation using quick witted comedy that is sure to make any generation laugh and more importantly ponder. ... full review

A screwball comedy into a Kardashian infested world that's: fun, eerily accurate and equally absurd. ... full review

I didn't really have any expectations about the play, but it turned out to be complex and thoughtful. The use of Margot as both a narrator and a character was a very clever plot device. I was extremely impressed. I wish there were a ratings choice between "pretty good" and "amazing." I am torn between the two. It is not the absolute greatest play I've ever seen, but it was better than just "pretty good."... full review

In The ABCs, playwright Monica Trausch (FB) has crafted a story that speaks to today’s teens and sends a vitally important message: that the perfection that society pushes is false and ultimately dangerous, and that the best thing is to love yourself for you. That’s an underlying belief of mine. A friend once said that perfection is when you cannot make mistakes and nothing changes. That only happens when you are dead. Life is being the best we can be an embracing our imperfections. So I truly think this is a wonderful play; perhaps one of the best I’ve seen at this year’s Fringe.
