My overall impression

Todd Waring has created five (and a bonus sixth!) Amazing stories that shocked and amazed me. With the flick of a collar or the shrug of a shoulder he embodies completely different universes. But above all this show is funny! The night I saw it, people were laughing so hard tears came. And in the next minute the laughter caught in their throat because something cruel and unexpected came up. Director Don McManus is to be lauded as well for the only accompaniment this solo writer\director had was a lone stand up bass player and occasional straight man. So simple, such good writing and yet, you felt the stage, the whole theatre was packed with the characters evoked by Waring. A definite must – see for Fringe goers. Don’t miss it. By far the best writing I’ve seen this week and definitely the best one-person show!
