About the Project
A soul rejoices in the gift of life he has received as he experiences the wholly new feeling of human emotions for the first time. He tries to find his place in this insane world where the control of humanity weighs heavily on him. He experiences the loss of his parents and is forced to question everything in an explosive crescendo.
A mind-numbed shell of himself, he yearns to make sense of the madness. He sets out to hang himself until a booming voice from the heavens speaks to him and tells him to go to the Amazon where a Shaman will greet him.
The theatre will be transformed into a sacred space and the audience is eventually drawn into partaking in a mock sacred shamanic ceremony where mantras are chanted into a microphone and multi-track mobile vocal loop machine.
The performance is completed with reverent life affirmations of how we all can succeed and make the world – inner and outer – a better place, be we must elevate our consciousness before we have our Awakenings.
