What I liked
From the moment the first spotlight comes on until the last fade, the audience is captivated by a story that is bittersweet and unforgiving. I laughed, I cried, I trembled. It’s one of those rare occasions in the theatre where the acting and writing gel to evoke emotion from the audience. Filip Hofman carries a range of emotion in his performance as Billy. Denise Carole is magnificent.
What I didn't like
I wanted more. The show needs a second act.
My overall impression
This will not be the last of “God’s Waiting Room”. This show will go on to greater things. Brilliant cast, brilliant writing.
