What I liked
To make a morally reprehensible and practically archaic character like Punch even MORE morally reprehensible and not just hold onto the audience but flat-out enthrall them… That’s the work of some skillful performers. Literally everyone involved with this show brought their A-game, and a hell of an A-game it is. I laughed, I snorted, I gasped, I mumbled “OH MY GOD” more times than I can count. This show is so sharp, so tight, so vicious, so hilarious, and so so goddamn smart. Massive kudos to the entire team, and I’m holding out hope that this show comes back to the stage somehow, somewhere.
