What I liked
This show pulls no punches, literally. Seemingly every theatrical style is touched upon as the lead character butchers his way through his fellow cast. The choreography and overall production value are brilliant, and the entire show ran like a well-oiled machine. The love of the art was evident in every moment.
What I didn't like
There are some very pregnant pauses for comedic effect, which just aren’t my thing. A horrible character gets away with doing horrible things, but that’s the point, I guess.
My overall impression
This show was recommended to me, and I enjoyed nearly every second of it. Absurdist to the nth degree, the obstructed seat up front actually served the show very well. As I couldn’t see entrances and exits, it felt like an actual puppet show gone berserk. A dedicated and extremely talented cast carry out this vision to it’s full silliness.
