Mount Vernon confronted me with a painful insight into family, tragedy, and the sometimes unlikelihood of redemption. It's a great show I'd experience again. (I did actually see it twice.)...

From the very beginning Mount Vernon pulls you into a story that keeps you guessing and questioning where the story will go next. Actors Sophie Ward and Brandon Ruiter brings the characters to life and you are pulled into their dark world. Writer Rena Brannan holds nothing back as she drags you into a deep hole you find yourself wanting more. Rena will keep you fixated until the very end, and you leave loving or dreading the characters she has brought to life. I look forward to Rena's next project...
