Having seen Macdeth, I was eager to see whether the comedy performed by the same team would have the same impact on me and be equally as funny. And for the most part, it was. If you're interested in seeing a great, funny, fantastic show of bawdy, sexual-innuendo filled jokes that weave together a love story that could easily have been told during Shakespeare's time--come see this show. It's a great, fantastic parody of Shakespeare's comedies--covering the mistaken identities, the goofy and sudden "instant true love" and even the strange and convoluted drug-induced death plans that seem to overwhelm the ideas of love that Shakespeare's stories abound with. A unique theatrical experience. Come prepared to think and laugh. These larger than life characters interact with the audience, and it all ties together in a delicious bow in the end. If you liked MidSummer's Night Dream, you'll enjoy SWEET LOVE ADIEU.... full review

A Writer-Director-Actor is a TRIPLE threat but RYAN J-W SMITH has TWO shows running in rep, so that makes him a SEXTUPLE threat---with the emphasis on Sex (and free chocolate)! Conversational Iambic Pentameter takes some getting used to, but once you're in the game---from the moment the 8 players greet you before the show starts---it seems as natural as the unnatural things they do! Shakespearean Satire is tricky, but this trouple pulls it off with elan, thanks to a sound script that seems like somethng Will might have WISHED he'd thought of himself. Bravo, Brits (and locals too)! A fast, funny farce unlike anything I've seen before! It needs a new title, though---THE BARD GETS HARD is TOO bawdy and SWEET LOVE ADIEU is TOO (deceptively... full review
