his is the story of an addict who’s hit rock bottom, but in Hunt’s talented hands, he’s an imperfect soul whom we find ourselves rooting for, even in his debauchery....

Full disclosure, I'm always gonna go see what Mr. Hunt does. It's always gonna have surprises, some real pathos, and some danger. And funny. You know there's gonna be some great funny. Brendan Hunt knows how to connect material, character, and audience and he does it here. I saw the preview so there may be adjustments from the show I saw. I'll see it again later in the run just because I know that, free from the restrictions of a big ensemble show, Brendan will find even more to bring. That's another thing you can count on.

Do not miss seeing this. This is one of the best one-person shows I've ever seen. Neither autobiographical pandering nor stand-up routine masked as a play, this is a real play with real action and plot and it delivers fantastically! ...

Brendan is a mad and immediate presence who inhabits his broken characters with intelligence, wit, and abandon. The structure of this piece unfolds like an oragami puzzle, making the journey even more enjoyable than the destination. This is a short play, not a one-man show; it is told with the focus and theatricality that goes far beyond what we are used to in Fringe solo work of self-revelatory navel gazing. In other words, I loved it....

I loved every second of this sweet little ditty. Filled with a memento esque structure, I was always jazzed to see how this story was going to twist and turn through its out and out attack on love, sickness and the need for connection. Brendan is the man. Just fact on top of facts with this. He commits like no other, and knows how to land every single joke like a gymnast dismounting for the gold. And in this particular performance I may have witnessed a fringe moment for the ages! (yessssssssssssss!).
So if Brendan is Jordan, that would make Lauren Van Kurin Phil Jackson. Directed with strength and confidence, Kurin knows where to take the audience and knows when to double down and take the audience one step deeper into the abyss that...

A hilarious time romp through a rough night - Mr. Hunt does a fantastic job of creating a character you both cheer for and shake your head at. Fast paced, witty and with a Wonder Woman apron. What else do you need? Definitely catch this one! ...
