What I liked

As an audience member it can be shocking when right before a show you are informed that you may be touched by the performers. However, if you realize it’s all in the name of art, experimentation, and exploration your defenses can lower and you find yourself immersed in this macabre fantasy. Even so there is a level of uncertainty about where to go, what to feel, who is good, and what is my role in this drama. All of these concepts erupt as a flash bomb inside of a prefabricated construct. This piece is not just about the players but myself as a player in relationship to the work itself. By the end I am left questioning who am I as a citizen, what is the point of my/this constructed drama, and when and why do I act?

What I didn't like

My overall impression

Get over yourself and jump in. Live theater is itching to shift its current mode of presentation. I am Hamlet puts the audience in the pit of this drama. We become the question and questioner. We are active participants inside this dark world where the depths of human drama are excavated to reveal our true nature. So bring your cell phones and be open to step in to be involved with this immersive performance experience. Come walk the line of uncertainty over the pit of despair.
