It is clear why this show won season 10 of Sacred Fool’s “Serial Killers.” It is well written, witty and the dark humor is killer … see what I did there. Sorry, couldn’t help myself. At any rate, the performances are top notch. Lauren Van Kurin as the lead Margo and Eric Giancoli as Lancaster the evil Establishment boss, play off of each beautifully. He is the ultimate dead-pan straight man and Van Kurin’s naivete - even after murdering people - is adorable. The supporting cast, who all play multiple roles are as solid as you can get, each playing a big part in the stage combat. This brings me to the thing that impressed me the most about this production, the stage combat. Was it all executed flawlessly, of course not. But it was clean, i... full review

Wow, that was so much fun! A good, silly tale of the underdog with a sophistication you would not expect from what is ostensibly a live-action Kung fu movie on stage, but about librarians! Lauren Van Kurin oscillates wildly between quirky and endearing goofball Liberian and Bad Ass Killing Machine. Carrie Keranen's range could not be contained by that stage! Her opening moments are subtle and charming and later she plays a wackadoo lady larger than life but with 110% commitment! Eric Giancoli, the master of sexy and deception. Pete Caslavska is heartbreaking. Fight choreo is fucking awesome AND hilarious! BOOBS!... full review

All The Best Killers Are Librarians is a must-see show! It is an extraordinary production and probably one of the most polished shows that I have ever seen at Fringe. It's clever, witty and moves at a heightened pace (so, try not to blink or you might miss something!). The story is absolutely brilliant (masterfully written by Bob DeRosa) and the direction (by Alicia Conway Rock) is clean, quick and sharp. The cast is made up of an ensemble of extremely talented actors. I couldn't single out any one actor as my favorite even if I tried because they are all so incredible. I do hope that this show gets an extended run. Also, I would LOVE to see a sequel (hint hint...)!... full review
