My overall impression
I encourage parents and educators to take advantage of this incredible resource that is equal parts entertaining and informative. In under 40 minutes, the audience is welcomed into the very relatable world of a young girl and her family who once lived near the Chornobyl nuclear power plant. Utilizing simple metaphors, song, and language that is always clear and never condescending, complex issues such as radiation poisoning and nuclear power are defined, replacing fear with knowledge and imparting a message that is as reaffirming as it is timely.
