About the Project
Using stream of consciousness poetry, lyrical movement, and the timeless music of The Velvet Underground, Sweet Jane takes an abstract, multi-perscpective peak into the tragically beautiful inner world of an artist who’s unique voice seemed to be silenced amongst society’s glorification of greed and consumption.
Sweet Jane poses questions about what it means to remain faithful to one’s own spirit in a world that often rewards normalization and conformation to the establishment.
