What I liked

Saudia Yasmein is one of the greatest fairy godmothers ever! A real showstopper! And the main couple, Ruby and her almost boyfriend, Tommy, played by Christina Rose and Chris Smith, are excellent. That male dancer, Kirby Harrell, is wonderfully exuberant, too.

What I didn't like

Please fix that sound system! We would be enjoying a wonderful song, and then be subjected to blasts of feedback or other loud bursts of very unpleasant sound. There were also a few times when the mikes just weren’t working and we couldn’t hear anything. (Fortunately that lasted only a few seconds.) The performers gamely continued in the face of some serious technical glitches.

My overall impression

Fun show. Lovely use of film and animation. Lively performers. Fabulous costumes.
