What I liked

A very diverse cast of dancers, beyoncè-esque stylings from the fairy god-mother, and a guy who plays all of the other guys from the 70’s. I loved the commitment to getting through it once the music cut out.

What I didn't like

Lines need to be brushed up. Didn’t quite understand the use of the puppets, or the pinball graphic from Sesame Street. The most important thing though: lines, lines, lines. Like on American Idol, “You can’t forget the words man.”

My overall impression

Full of life, fun, color, great voices and energy, “Ruby” will entertain you delight you and take you back in time to help the title character, find her sexiness. Lots of white spandex too a la Katy Perry. A+ on the wardrobe choices. Thanks for that.
