So great to experience a wonderful version of this rarely produced musical with some of ALW's lesser known gems. It is a tight production with Shannon Nelson delivering a very vocally demanding part with power and subtlety as needed. Her well trained instrument is matched delightfully by her comedic timing and vulnerability. She really gives Emma a rich life. Very specific work and some clever staging makes the space and "other characters" come alive and gets fleshed out nicely. Definitely see this show!... full review

So glad that I finally got to see this beloved, rarely performed musical. And thrilled that I got to see it with a nuanced, funny, and engaging performer. Shannon Nelson makes this show. It's a musical about a woman's love-life and career that I'm sure every unmarried 30-something can relate to.... full review
