My overall impression
With Brian Howard, every show is different, because he’s so invested in the members of his audience – he feeds on their reactions, inviting their comments in real time – and as the audience members get more comfortable in their integral roles, they get even more involved, almost to the point where Brian has to rein them in a bit. He never loses control, and it makes for an exciting and unpredictable evening. Like tonight – he was going to do some juggling, but then he got to talking about direct mail for some reason – he should have just stuck to the juggling.
Just kidding, Brian.
Go see the show – the Fringe stage is the perfect venue for his antics. Enjoy that tequila, Bri!
