What I liked

I felt that the physical work was exemplary by the actress playing Ann. The cast was completely committed to the characters they were portraying and the compelling story they were telling. This was a PERFECT fringe show in that it exemplified imaginative writing, astute direction, solid use of space, and inventive design (costume and lighting). Special kudos to the period-innovative props!

What I didn't like

The very beginning moments in the dark seemed to go on a bit too long.

My overall impression

This is a clever, family-friendly, play that imagines what “might have happened” prior to the Frank family going into hiding. At times filled with pre-teen angst and other times, tremendous sadness, this show has a lot of potential to be expanded and continue glorious runs in the future! Continued success to all involved!
