This was one of the most moving shows I have ever seen! The acting of Nora King was phenomenal. Her range of emotions drew the audience in and provided a powerful statement about innocence and tragedy - I cried, and so did everyone around me. I heard others in the audience saying that the show was sold out the night before and the whole audience was abuzz in anticipation. At the end of the performance we all sat there unable to move. What a powerful show and incredible performance by Nora King and the others as well and an overall extremely powerful show. This is a not to miss!!!!... full review

This was absolutely my favorite production of the fringe. The cast, the story, the dark themes - all fantastic. For anyone wanting to experience again that shudder they felt when they first learned about the Holocaust, you must see this show.... full review

Thirteen's Spring isn't a show you forget about. Its days later and I catch myself recalling text I remember, thinking about the massive scale of language there is in the physical along with poetic aspects of the show. From the first few moments, Thirteen's Spring introduces itself with sophistication and specificity and before we know it, at the end, we find for such a familiar hero around the world. There is still more story to tell. That is why it is a must see. The acting is beautiful and specific, while the story is orchestrated with a powerful simplicity. ... full review

An absolute MUST SEE this year at Fringe. In terms of writing quality, performance craft, and overall polish, I have no doubt "Thirteen's Spring" ranks at the top for this year's festival offerings. This story is artfully constructed and beautifully executed by four gorgeous MAC members. As an audience we felt it all: the clunky exuberance of youth, the elation of first love, and the heartbreak when it's suddenly, irrationally ripped away by a country turning against its own people. The audience was riveted from start to finish. It's just a shame there wasn't a second act. **New actors and/or predominantly film actors interested in the stylistic differences between screen and stage acting should definitely check this out. Good solid performances that reflected the bittersweet episode right before Anne Frank goes into hiding. Knowing the backstory made the performances all the better as young hopes and dreams would not come to past. ... full review

Lovely and touching, Thirteen's Spring encapsulated the devastation of realizing that one cannot stay young and free forever, and in Anne Frank's case, give up her childhood. The acting by Nora King and Joseph Tanner Paul left me craving more of their warm partnership and impressed with their portraits of two young people discovering love and loss. The element of movement artistry was effective yet subtle, soft and at times erratic, representative of Anne's internal struggle as well as her feelings towards the world and Hello. Beautifully constructed and performed. ... full review

Really well done. The minimalist staging suited the story and everything came together well. Acting, direction, design, writing all top notch. ... full review
