What I liked
The staging is on point and the use of the space was great. I loved the script and the actors were all amazing. I did not expect the dancing and singing to be as good as they were but the dancers and singers were a GREAT touch. It also helps that the detective was super attractive!
What I didn't like
Everything seemed to fit pretty well and was explained. The “dream sequence” was a little off at first and I missed the starting premise of the show (though it was clear enough once the story progressed – I just couldn’t hear what the exact initial investigation was) thankfully because the script was good it was mentioned again and I got it. (really had to nitpick to find those)!
My overall impression
Just see it. Seriously, as usual I was impressed with the writing and the jokes. It has the perfect amount of camp, seriousness and smarts.
