During the height of their popularity, the legendary funk band “The Four Horsemen” mysteriously disappeared in their time-traveling van. Rumors flew of a ‘secret mission to save the world’, but as the years passed and the funk faded, their platinum records slowly filled the discount racks. Funk gave way to less sexy, less stylish music.
But, ‘you can’t stop the funk,’ as James Brown definitely said one time. When the “Four Horsemen” inexplicably reemerge from space-time in present-day Los Angeles and find themselves in front of an audience, it doesn’t matter that it’s the last day of human existence. Their mission is put on the back burner as they give the people what they really need: the performance of their lives.
