About the Project
Shane is the different kind of millennial. Rather, he’s just human. A late twenty something aspiring writer having lived in Los Angeles from quite sometime, he’s been sucked dry on his ambition due to personal responsibility. With no real skills being that he dropped out of college, he has spent his years working at a fine dining restaurant, slaving away to Hollywood and Beverly Hills’s elite.
His longtime girlfriend Frances, dreams of coordinating events for the A list, but has struggled to maintain her own funding for her endeavor. She has the talent to succeed, but lacks the confidence intertwined with her (perceived to be bad) physical appearance. Regardless, her street smarts have kept her afloat.
At the end of their wits, the two discover pivotal opportunities, and realize they have only three weeks to achieve them. Can they get it together to bring their dreams closer to each other? Or will their pursuit of happiness ultimately drift them apart?
