About the Project
UGLY APPLE is a wild and messy one woman dark comedy written and performed by Katja Gerz, about a Ger-Marican girl torn between two cultures, who has hit rock bottom. Katjana takes the audience on a roller-coaster, where we get a glimpse into her past, her hopes and her daily struggles to being a fully functional adult human being. With little filter she jumps from parents to men to happy meals all in quest of finding light at the end of the tunnel. You leave the same way you came in (through the door) just now… you have a bag of Doritos.
