About the Project
On the day of his mother’s wake, Billy (20) enters his bedroom to find a man claiming to be his uncle, Roger Hill. Through conversation with this brash and bombastic individual, Billy tries to determine whether Roger is actually his estranged father, a man who abandoned his family when Billy was four years old.
Roger, for his part, is returning to see Billy for the first time in years. He is disturbed to discover that the child he left has grown up into a bit of a wimp – frightened, weak, and suffering from intense germophobia. Roger attempts to discover whether his own actions led Billy down this path.
Told in five scenes, Fuck A Duck explores the relationship between these two men and the events of their past that have turned them into who they are today.
