My overall impression

This solo show is a beautiful exploration of a woman trying to find and justify her Indian identity, amongst the conflicting definitions of what is “American Indian” in today’s world. Ranging from comedic to powerful, Jennifer captures a mentality and struggle that is all-too present in the Native community with her dynamic characters and commanding performance. Her ability to convey the comedy, the irony, and the suffering allows you to understand the breath of this topic and just how important it is for this story to be told and seen.
