Nigerian Spam Scam Scam was awesome and hysterical. There is clearly something wrong with Dean Cameron as he says in the beginning, we see the part of him "only his therapist understands". But you will be thankful for his insanity as you travel down his road of madness; watching him do what you know you've imagined doing. The twists and turns and delights that occur through out this retelling of ACTUAL EVENTS will leave you with several "Oh My God, that did not happen" moments. Thank you Dean Cameron for living this out on behalf of all of us. And additional kudos to the other half of Spam Scam Scam, Victor Isaac for all the humanity he gives the Nigerian side...I actually started to sympathize for him! Nigerian Spam Scam Scam is a must see. Having seen it in 2008, I have been keeping an eye out for years for an opportunity to see it again. Imagine my thrill when I saw that I had the chance to finally see it again! I will tell you that 8 years later, this piece held up in every way imaginable. It opens with a laugh and then hits you every 30 seconds with laugh after laugh on top of laugh for well over an hour. Dean and Victor clearly enjoy doing this and it's a joy to watch them play off each other. It's also the kind of thing you see and then want nothing more than to find more of your friends to bring for their first time. If you've ever wondered who was on the other end of the email communication you've received from a Nigerian prince with $30 million dollars to get out of the country (or dozens of similar scams), this show gives you an amazing and hilarious insider's view. It takes you through both sides of the communication as the "scammee" (Dean Cameron) eventually gets one over on the scammer (Victor Isaac). Both performers are top-notch, and the story moves at a brisk pace, delivering laughs by the truckload along the way. Definitely worth adding to your Fringe "must see" list!... full review

Loved this show. I loved the idea of the true story of a Nigerian Scam coming to life on stage. I always receive their emails, yet to see the response, in how I would have loved to respond, come to life! I am now looking forward to receiving those emails. I will now know how to respond. I loved the ending. I laughed and clapped hardy. Dean Cameron brought us into his demented, comical, genius mind in replying to the Nigerians. Victor Isaac was lovely as the Nigerian. Victor was dead on as I would have imagined a Nigerean to be: calculating; planning; stoic, even so focused to transfer themselves as a woman. All in the quest to drain Americans or the weak and greedy of their life savings. A great pre-dinner must see. Go se... full review

First: full disclosure--Dean Cameron is a family member, my son-in-law to be precise. Still...listen to me....I have seen this show quite a few times and each time it is better than the time before. And it started out really good! But what is that to all of you seeing it for the first time? Just let me tell you that Dean and Victor are a delight and the story is so wonderfully funny and strange. Personally, it makes me giggle that weird stuff like this actually happens. I find the show interesting, funny, delightful, precise, clean, economical---and these are all good things in my book. And by 'precise' I mean that if someone raises an eyebrow, we in the audience know what that eyebrow is saying.... full review

Fun show! Some unexpected twists and a good number of laugh out loud moments. The concept of the piece is what intrigued me and it didn't disappoint. There are a couple moments where it feels like it is about to end, but picks up again right away. Victor Isaac is hilarious and all in all a pretty good show.... full review
