My overall impression
Beautiful singing, artful story telling and… very sneakily… a historical lesson about Shakespeare’s life. I learned a lot and enjoyed it!
Normally I hate 1 man shows. It’s hard to build a relationship with people that aren’t physically there and often more difficult for the audience to believe that relationship. But in this show Fisher keeps the focus active by interacting with the audience and keeping the conversations with off stage persons to a minimum.
