My overall impression
Michael Shaw Fisher is a thug. He’ll knock you down and take your money. His portrayal of William Shakespeare (if you’re not sure who that is you can read about him here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Shakespeare) is fantastic. There’s no need to go into what happens during the show. Singing, speechin’, jokes, it’s everything you could want from a one man musical show about William Shakespeare. And this from a guy who usually does full-blown musicals with a full cast and a six piece band. Watching the engine of those shows run by itself at full throttle for an hour will be one of the high points of your Fringe.
Don’t walk, run.
FULL DISCLOSURE: Mr. Fisher also rocks the boards in a show I do. But I don’t play favorites. I wouldn’t say go see this show if I didn’t mean it. And I mean it.
