this show was like a warm fuzzy. i felt like i was in good hands right off the bat with totally adept performers who know their style and do their 'thing', and together, they really complimented each other. for me, it really was a great show to start off the fringe. ... full review

Prepare yourself for an hour of intelligent, thought provoking hilarity-- poetry, stories, songs, surprising rhythm instruments-- the works. This dynamic duo does it with panache. And you even get a chance to sing along. Who could ask for more? It was kind of like the Smothers Brothers with estrogen. Go! You owe it to yourself. ... full review

Wow! What a fun show! We went in with zero expectations and left thoroughly impressed with the cleverness of the stories and lyrics. The show is almost two "solo" acts in one. The two performers alternate between storytelling (which are all hilarious) and original songs that are fun and clever (Shitty Angels was our favorite). This show will not disappoint. ... full review

Loved "That Shitty Sweater"! Wendy Hopkins and Cynthia Carle are a charming duo, and their back-and-forth storytelling and musical stylings are deeeeeeelightfully fun and engaging, and had me laughing out loud more times than I can count. My only criticism: I WISH IT WERE LONGER. ... full review

I'm not as easy of a laugher as I used to be. Not much resonates for me at shows these days, and I find myself uncomfortable in my seat and looking forward to the end. That being said; I loved this!! Mixing 2 things I enjoy. Stories and music! Actually mixing more than that! It was ALL delightful and funny! I actually did LOL the entire way through! Perhaps to the annoyance of the folks sitting in front of me! I love when writing is so well crafted, and these two ladies have that in spades. So great! And wow, it flew by!! Thanks for a great show!... full review

Great show!!! Wendy is one of those chicks who's called "brilliant" and "genius" so much it sounds casual. But she is. So effortlessly funny & a naturally great storyteller. Cynthia Carle brings it with fun songs. O but o how I enjoyed the symphony of comedy and music, muse it is, indeed! To my very soul. I, so touched my the Meat Man, so tickled by the torrid tales! Brava! Sers, it's supes great! ... full review
