“If there’s one musical not to miss at this year’s Hollywood Fringe, it’s likely to be Marry Me A Little. I liked it more than a little. I liked it a lot!” – STAGE SCENE LA
“Thank you, Janet Miller, Corey Hirsch, David Laffey and Jessie Withers for your craftsmanship in making good theatre come alive. I have always believed that the best theatre is not in luxurious sets and costumes – there’s only a bed and two straightback chairs here – but, in what’s up front. Can the actors sing and can they pull me into the story? In Marry Me a Little, most definitely, yes, yes, yes!!Janet Miller’s vision is so clear, so pure. She appreciates Sondheim’s artistry and knows how to convey it simply and most beautifully.”

This Sondheim piece is a charming, bittersweet tale of love, longing and loneliness. Two urban singles, solo in their studio apts on a Saturday night, pass the time with secret, unshared fantasies, never knowing that they are just one floor away from each other and the end of their solitary dreams.
Together they breathe new theatrical life and meaning into a collection of trunk songs that were culled from the final productions of Anyone Can Whistle, Follies, Company, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and A Little Night Music.
