This show was amazing from start to finish. The cast was compelling and the production was first rate. I loved how the director not only found the poignant moments but also found humor in the scenes. Lots of wonderful levels in this well produced and directed production. Mary Kelsey, Donnie Smith and Adam Garst are all riveting performers that kept me on the edge of my seat. Run and see this production, you won't be disappointed. ... full review

i LOVED this production! the acting was incredible, not amateurish. although it was only an hour, it took you on a roller coaster of emotions. it may have depicted the "seamier" side of life, but the feelings and emotions we all experience are depicted. sunshine, the lead role, was charismatic, brash and endearing. nelson, her foil, was well portrayed, acted and relatable. it was all there: funny, sad, scary ............... full review

“Definitions belong to the definers, not the defined.” – Toni Morrison, Beloved But here goes... “An area of activity that is related to but not part of whatever is central or most widely accepted." That’s Fringe, or at least what Merriam Webster calls it. The outskirts, outcast, “out there.” A tradition going back almost 70 years, to Edinburrough, Scotland, Fringe Theatre has long been, or meant to be, a risky, raw, even unkempt endeavor, all in the service of probing and experimentation. We watch Fringe to watch a process, not The Producers. We cram into little dark boxes, to sit in spitting distance of artists who stretch themselves to their breaking point, who give of themselves to the point of oblivion, who impart and connect,... full review

I loved the small production of this play. It was so beautifully intimate and performed. It's a sweet and sometimes dark story, which was a nice combination. And Corryn Cummins' direction was spot on; she really illuminated the characters' struggles and emotions in such a lovely way.... full review

I went to the Wednesday night June 24th performance of this play and I'm still buzzing over the electric tour de force performances from the entire cast. From the first lines of the opening scene I knew I would be in for a non-stop thrill ride of raw emotion, passion, vulnerability, rage and elation. I was captivated and entranced by Mary Kelsey's habitation of her character Sunshine who mastered the balance between sweet and frail yet with a gracefulness and inner-strength. Mary Kelsey truly shined as Sunshine and is kinetic on stage delivering lines that inter-weaved humor while also baring her soul all at the same time. She was like an interpretative dancer, using her body in an intelligent way to portray different states of mind--trul... full review
