My overall impression
Even as I start to write this, I’m chuckling to myself. I keep thinking about what I want to say – without spoiling the delight for anyone else! Here’s what I can say. This is AWESOME! The storyline is so clever to begin with….then you add in PERFECT musical accompaniment and song lyrics that tell the story in true musical theatre style – with humor and irreverence! The choreography – including the INCREDIBLE puppetry – was perfectly suited to the style and comedy of the story. And the PUPPETS!?! I’m just GIDDY over these perfectly styled “props” and co-stars! And even the use of LIGHTING added a layer to the story! I can hardly WAIT to see this show again! Kudos to the A.v.M. Team!!
