My overall impression

Most energetic, meaningful show I’ve thoroughly enjoyed in years!
Production values are very, very clever yet don’t distract from Veronica Tjioe’s solid writing that deals intimately with the pains and pleasures of intimacy. Director Rosie Glen-Lambert unifies har actors whose characters are always pulling in different directions. Luke Medina plays the real dog within every dog you’ve ever asked, “Who are you really?” And there is one scene, wait for it, you’ll know it when it happens, that will have you on your feet applauding and hollering in the pure joy of witnessing what you’ve never seen before on a stage. A wonderful, fast-paced show with terrific acting, adept stagecraft and masterful direction. Don’t miss it. Miss the Tony Awards if you must, but don’t miss Dead Dog’s Bone: A Birthday Play.
