great potential
i'm a fan of kelsey goldberg. I like seeing her around and I was glad to go see her onstage. but insofar as lovely, some minor things can help this production and make our actress look like the star she's meant to portray. this show could have (and can still be!) upped in a major way with the lights (it's a purgatory of sorts, right? couldn't it be cold or timeless looking? or hell, hot, just choose!)... I also think the idea of putting the door on a wobbly frame in the center of that adorable Ruby stage is a waste of a great space and traps our actress on the lip of the stage! It could have been so much more effective if our actress got thrown into the world and couldn't find her way out of a curtain! (plus, for an actress i think that migh...

Kelsey Goldberg is amazing in her portrayal of Rosamond Pinchot. You will seriously regret not going to see Lovely and learning about Rosamond!...

Lovely is simply that, Lovely. Kelsey Goldberg shares her passion for the life and death of Rosamond Pinchot. The show begins at the moment of Rosamond's suicide as she examines what she has done and where she actually is. Goldberg weaves through elation, fear, anger as the play unfolds. I would have liked to know a little more about Pinchot, who she was, why was she adored, hated, revered but Kelsey Goldberg is delightful. ...
