Such a fun show executed by a very talented and willing cast! The lyrics and song premises are funny and original. For, me, the standouts were: My Neighbor, Just a Couple A' Guys, and Pleasure Town. The opening and closing numbers are a MUST for the Fringe audience alone. There was only one song out of the nineteen that didn't really work for me. All of these actors have serious comedic chops and pipes! Make the time to see this show!... full review

Great group of really talented people, this was a truly enjoyable show of hilariously offbeat musical numbers. Very current, very profane, very funny. ... full review

Saw Stupid Songs at the Fringe Festival on Monday evening. Couldn't have enjoyed it more, even if the director had been my own daughter. Wait, my daughter Keri IS the director! And producer. And a writer and cast member! The show was clever, funny, energetic, topical and different! It was a pleasure to watch such talented individuals perform original material in an intimate setting. Do yourself a favor and catch one of their remaining shows! ... full review

I absolutely loved Stupid Songs. It has one of those simple high-concepts that makes you go, 'Why didn't I think of that?' Sketch comedy songs. The kind of original, twisted concepts you would expect to see at a great Groundlings show... But instead of the scenarios being played out in sketch, they're played out in song. Some of the songs consist of new lyrics written to existing songs - some familiar, some obscure. All hysterical. But most of the songs are completely original and hysterical. Most impressive is the cast. Each as funny a comedian as you'll see on any stage in LA. The show would be cringe-worthy if they couldn't also sing like champs. And act like pros. The show is performed with such comic assuredness, at its very bes... full review

STUPID SONGS Under the Direction of Keri Safran , and accompanied by “The Stupid Band” (Dan Wessels, Eric Kalver, Brebtib Jissak and Carla Capolupo) fifteen professional singers do what all professionals dream of: Totally trash their profession. Essentially everything you need to know about this show is there in the title. All it is, is a hodge-podge of 19 stupid songs. But they happen to be really funny “stupid” songs sung by really amazing singers. For the Most part written by the company member who performs them , and boasting a satirical bite sharp enough to intimidate the shark from “Jaws”, each and every one of the numbers are genuine toe tappers They are gleefully naughty and stunningly clever too. Sarah Wolter and Gabe O... full review

Truly had no idea what to expect from a show with the title, "Stupid Songs" other than just a load of stupid songs? But right from the get go, this show perks you right up with a hilarious opening number that turns into a massive-full-ensemble-harmony-filled gasm. And the show only gets better from here on out. Keri has pulled together one amazing cast with voices to sing from the heavens above and comedy from the depths below. I actually think that I ruined her video recording of this show because I was laughing so hard right next to the camera. Dan Wessels the music director has put together a variety of songs that hit every mood right in the kisser. A+ to this show, highly recommend if you are not stupid and love a damn good time.... full review

All I can say is "wow!" This was the most fun show I've seen in a long time. From beginning to end, I was laughing at these brilliant comedians. And boy, can they sing! This show gets my vote for Best of Fringe. See it while you can!... full review
