My overall impression
The concept of this piece was great…. And doing a one woman show is incredibly difficult! Kudos to Cyanne for taking on the challenge! The opening was creative: dramatic with the gurney and lighting and diving into the storyline. However somewhere in the middle I was lost with all the characters and they seemed to somehow mesh together……. I would have loved to see more exploration on the heart transplant…. Next to doing a one woman show….Getting a human heart from another human being has to be one of the most traumatic experiences in a persons life….. . And I loved the video montage in the end.
