My overall impression
The first thing I noticed while seeing “I Died.. I Came Back… Whatever” is what an incredibly natural actress Cyanne McClairian is. Not only did she move effortlessly playing doctors, friends, bullies, and even freaking Laurence Olivier. But she is also natural and endearing playing herself, both dead AND alive. This show takes the path most creative in the way it tells the story of McClairian’s life, death and life again. It could have been a simple narration of what happened, but instead we get rich characters, a crazy story, and a surprising amount of emotion. The story and McClairian’s acting ability are on full display in this great addition to the 2015 Fringe Festival.
