My overall impression

The night I went to see Lance I was selected to be his co-host! At first I thought it was becasuse he recognized me from my star turn in the award winning comedy “Boss:The Untold Tony Danza Story” (www.hff15.org/2435) but then when I finally got on stage and looked into his eyes, it became obvious there was no familiarity there. Like when you go to the zoo and you look at the chimps in the pen, you always expect them to recognize you as a distant relative. Chimps however don’t see evolution they see another thing in their way of getting food. Lance looked at me like that. He didn’t see another fringe performer he saw an obstacle. How was he going to provide quality entertainment to his mostly paying audience while not being upstaged by handsom Italian man with impeccable comedic timing. I watched his brain squirm until finally, he solved his quandy. He told me I had to sit in a chair and that I was forbade to talk. He could have just picked another audience member, but instead he placed me on a chair and forced me to watch as he interviewed guest after guest. Never once mentioning my presence, except to mock my bulging biceps and chiseled jaw bone. Lance even did a rendition of a hit broadway musical of which I would have been right for several parts. But instead of offering me a role, he chose to perform the entire thing by himself! Never once asking if I was a tenor or bass or if I even owned a dance belt. He did other things too that the audience really seemed to enjoy…ALL AT MY EXPENSE! Minutes before the show ended he sent me back to my seat. While walking through my row, one of the mob he had turned against me threw red paint on my white shirt. He laughed an quipped “what’s red, white and pathtic all over?” And I repsonded “not this show!”. The audience then seemed to laugh, and I realized I was in on the joke! They weren’t laughing at me, they were laughing with me!! I wasn’t a chimp I was fellow performer. And on this night we all won an award. Go see this show now!
