My overall impression
Hi, I caught Jason & (Medea) on Wednesday, June 24th at 7:00 pm. Great job all around. I was struck by the nuanced and minimalistic dialogue that depicted childhood, adolescence, desire, sex…and their juxtapositions. What the language accomplishes is deep and probing in a clever shorthand that has a youth and sway about it. The naturalistic style in which the two leads work the language compliments the quickstep of the play while not leaving audience out emotionally. I will never forget Jessica Pohly screaming for that do-over.
