About the Project
Kaitlin and Laura make up the comedy duo Cheap Smokes. Forming the troupe 6 years ago when they met in Comedy school (yes, it exists)! Laura microwaved Kaitlin some tea and the rest is history.
Since forming they have not stopped, always pushing the envelope, proving that ladies can go just as blue as the boys. They were named one of the top ten sketch troupes to watch in Canada.
They have been apart of many sketch festivals including: Boston, San Francisco, Montreal and Toronto. They’ve also done a cross Canada comedy tour and are in the midst of planning a West coast tour from Los Angeles to Vancouver.
Their style of comedy can be exhausting to watch. They rarely stop moving, whether its playing outrageous characters or finding any excuse to dance.
It’s an extremely hands-on, audience participation heavy show. No audience member is safe. If you’re sitting in the crowd, you’re going to feel like you are apart of the show.
They are wild and fun and you are going to have a grrrrrreat time. Cheap Smokes promises.
