My overall impression
I was excited to see Leigh’s show because I’ve enjoyed talking to her at many of the Fringe events. She’s poised and friendly and thoughtful. I was so moved by her very personal story. I felt like I was being let in on a secret. This is a story that needs to be told. There is a stigma for women of a certain age who don’t have children or who have a certain ambivalence about having children and Leigh is opening up a dialogue about the complex emotions surrounding this issue. She approaches it with a wonderful balance of vulnerability and humor. I felt privileged to witness her journey.
