My overall impression

This is Fringe at its best. An intimate, metatheatrical, intelligently directed, honestly performed piece that attempts to engage the audience at every turn. All three performers connect with the audience, never an easy feat in the round, but Claire Kaplan gives a vivaciously vixen performance that should be noted for an HFF award. “Lady into Fox” takes its audience on a disarming journey of love, animality, and identity, and while the dramaturgy needs some attention, the care with which this piece has been constructed speaks volumes for where this company will go.
