Raw, Visceral and Compelling, Rachel Kaiser's solo performance in Ma Voix: Song of My Youth was outstanding. With a front row seat, I became a guest in her living room where she led the audience down a road of curiosity, introspection, insecurity, anger, love and grace. Her story is carefully constructed and brilliantly acted and she didn't miss a beat. It is a wild ride balanced out with perfectly placed vocal performances creating both a point of introspection and a segue into the next chapter. When we put our "stuff" on the table first, no one can use it against us. We get our power back. Thank you, Rachel, for reminding us of that. ... full review

Would definitely recommend this show! Really enjoyed her performance and have such an appreciation for the vulnerability she is willing to share about her life. This type of show is what has ripple effects to other people's lives, as it opens up great conversation. She shows great diversity from the eccentric and comedic moments to the quiet and reflective. GO GO GO GO GO SEE THIS SHOW!! Rachel Kiser is a beam of light that shines a beautiful rainbow across the stage from start to finish. Her story is compelling and she takes you on a boldly honest journey of how she lost herself and sacrificed the very essence of who she was for what she thought was true love. Watching her story made me think of the Little Mermaid (the original story by Hans Christian Andersen). Rachel is very much like the little mermaid, a bright light of a beautiful soul who gives up everyone and everything she believes in along with her voice and loses who she is just to be with a prince. And all I can say is... thank God, Rachel got her voice back, because we all need to hear it. Not only is her perspective on life ... full review
